Now you must know how long your skin can stay in the sun without sunburn.  SPF number is calculated simply by multiplying the time your skin burns while unprotected with the SPF number mentioned over your sunscreen. One of the common practices we perform is we only apply tanning oil on the skin if we want a good quick tan. Though it does give you a fast tan but damage your skin like hell. The reason being we forget to apply sunscreen prior to the oil. This will let our skin to be directly exposed to the dangerous sun rays which are harmful.

Always go to apply the sunscreen first. Let it dry completely and apply a thin layer of the tanning oil on the skin. This will help protect your skin from harmful UVA and UVB rays.
